What the lining does

Lining is the difference between a wave that holds and a wave that sags. It gives the fabric enough weight to keep its shape from the top of the track all the way to the floor. And it holds the fold line through years of opening and closing.

It changes the room too. Wave Aura filters daylight down to a soft, even wash, takes the glare off a television screen and blunts the worst of a west-facing afternoon. Closed after dark, it screens the room properly, and the second layer of fabric helps hold warmth in on cold nights.

One caveat, because it matters. This is a room-darkening curtain, not a blackout. You get a calm, dimmed room rather than a pitch-dark one. If pitch dark is what you are after, this is the wrong curtain.

Best in bedrooms and lounges, and on any window that takes a beating from afternoon sun.

Measure your wave curtain track from end to end, then match the number on the track to the number on the curtain.

Code 3 is the one people get wrong. It covers two setups: a 1.5m track taking a single curtain that draws to one side, and a 3m track taking a pair that meets in the middle. Both use the 285cm width. Check which one you are fitting before you order.
